With leadership experience at Eventim, Ticketmaster, and Paciolan, Phillips brings the missing piece to scale Tixbase worldwide.
New York, NY – September 29, 2025 – Tixbase, the company reinventing global ticketing through blockchain and fan-first innovation, today announced the appointment of Chad Phillips as its first Chief Executive Officer. Phillips joins Tixbase as a proven industry veteran, bringing 25 years of leadership experience to scale the company’s vision worldwide.
Phillips has held senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most influential ticketing organizations. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Eventim USA, the world’s second-largest ticketing and live entertainment provider, where he drove strategic partnerships and high-profile business development initiatives. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director of Ticketmaster Asia, overseeing the company’s operations in Singapore and Taiwan while pursuing additional growth opportunities across the region. Earlier in his career, Phillips was appointed to launch and lead Select Your Tickets, a ticketing company in Western Canada. He later joined Paciolan, where he was asked to move to Singapore to establish APACTix as Managing Director. Under his leadership, APACTix secured the contract to operate Sports Hub Tix, the largest sports and entertainment hub in Southeast Asia, and ushered in a new era of ticketing innovation and technology. This sparked disruption in Singapore’s ticketing and live entertainment industry and gained attention throughout Asia. He subsequently led the sale of APACTix to Ticketmaster, which became the foundation for Ticketmaster Asia.
“Chad’s appointment is more than a milestone — it’s a statement,” said Emil R. Ljesnjanin, Founder of Tixbase. “Few executives have led at Ticketmaster, Paciolan, and Eventim. Now he brings that rare experience to Tixbase as we build technology to redefine the live event experience globally.”
As CEO, Phillips will drive Tixbase’s mission to transform ticketing with secure infrastructure, identity-bound tickets, and programmable resale, restoring trust for fans while unlocking new value for clubs, venues, and promoters.
“Tixbase has an extraordinary opportunity to redefine how fans, rights holders, and venues connect in the live event experience,” said Phillips. “The live events industry is ready for a new approach — one built on innovation and transparency that restores confidence, empowers fans, and sets a new global standard for ticketing. At its core, ticketing is about trust, and we are committed to delivering a fan-first experience that is transparent, secure, and fair.”
